Day 1 Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Check-in from your hotel at 7:00 am. We will cross the port of Tizi n Tichka to reach Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the filming location of numerous Hollywood movies such as Lawrence of Arabia and Jesus of Nazareth. Your guide will take you around the dried-up river and up to the highest peak of the Kasbah, which offers a fabulous and breathtaking view. You will then visit Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara, and then drive through the Valley of Roses and the palm groves of Skoura to reach the gorges of Dades, where you will meet for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel typical of this magnificent place.
Day 2 Dades – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes (Elge Chebbi)
After breakfast, we will depart at 8:00 am and take the road 1000 Kasbah, passing through beautiful Berber villages and visiting Tinegir, known for its magnificent palm groves. We will continue to Todra Gorges, where we will pass through a gorge 300 meters high. Then we will head to the dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi), where you can swim in the hotel pool and then ride a camel and take a two-hour walk through the dunes, arriving directly at the desert camp, where you will have dinner and spend the second night.
Day 3 El Ghshebi – Tazarin – Agdez – Marrakech
On the third day of your 3-day luxury desert tour from Marrakech, you will wake up before dawn at first light, have breakfast at the camp, board your camel with your driver as co-pilot, and then travel through Tazarin, Draa Valley, Agdez and Ouarzazate to Marrakech. On the way you will take a break for lunch at a local restaurant and then continue your journey to the Red City.
