A Moroccan tour like no other, your Sea and Mountain journey will both begin and end in the busy heart of Marrakech, but will take you to the blue and white Western coast of Morocco and up high into the might Atlas mountains over the course of 8 days.
Departure/Arrival Location: Marrakech
Tour Duration: 8 Days/ 7 Nights
Transport: Luxury 4×4 Toyota Landcruiser, Camel Ride
Max Travelers: 4 per vehicle.
Food & Accommodation: Both provided to suit budget.
A simple day to get you started, we’ll pick you up at the airport in one of our Toyota Landcruiser 4x4s and bring you to your hotel for dinner and rest before your journey begins.
On day two your journey truly begins. We’ll pick you up from your hotel and transport you in safety and comfort to Eassaouira – the UNESCO recognised walled port city – a truly remarkable place where guests can soak up the historical significance of this magical harbour. Washed in blue and white, this fishing town has plenty for guests to explore and is now known for it’s beautiful handmade goods.
We’ll pick a place to eat based on your preferences and a comfortable hotel for the night.
After a delicious breakfast your journey begins anew as you head to Agadir – a coastal city with a surprisingly European feel. A visit to Sidi Kaouki beach is considered and absolute MUST and Taghazoute is also highly recommended.
Again, food preferences are easy to cater for here in Agadir, just tell us what you want to eat and we’ll source your dinner from our selection of tried and trusted venues. You’ll then enjoy an overnight stay in the comfort of Agadir.
Travelling a similar distance as the day before, we’ll then take you out to our most Southernly desintation on this tour – laid back Sidi Ifni with it’s Spanish influences and striking buildings. We’ll take a little drive out to Tiznit too for a more traditional and cultural experience before finding something delicious to eat and drink before bed.
Day 5 sees us enter into the mountaineous section of our tour with a drive up to G’limime and Tafraout in the Anti Atlas.
This is a unique region of Morocco famed for its almond trees. Here you can find a similarly relaxing vibe as you will have done in Sidi Ifni, where you can further unwind by walking in the bouldered Amen Valley before bed.
We’ll travel by Chtouka Ait Baha and on to Taroudante – a red-walled town that suprisingly hides amazing shopping facilities full of fine silverware. Another relaxing day of exploration.
Returning to Marrakech might sound like the end of your journey, but this last leg is packed with so many memorable stops you’ll be too busy and excited to think about it.
The Test Pass and the Tinml are on route, and once in Marrakech we can take you to the Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Agdal Gardens, the Gueliz district, the ancient Medina, the markets and Djemaa el Fna Square before you finally allow your head to hit the pillow.
Providing your flight departure time is viable, we’ll pick you up and drop you off at the airport to wave goodbye.
